The man behind the scheme, who devised a plan to provide stealthy PEDs to elite sports stars such as MLB legends Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi and track and field star Marion Jones decades ago, has passed away. He was 75.

To Dr Gary Wadler, a then-member of the World Anti-Doping Agency, Conte could be compared to pushing hard drugs. “It concerns unlawful substance distribution.
